This beautiful 1974 Series III Jaguar E type V12 Roadster has been the subject of huge expenditure during its present 10 year ownership and is now both mechanically excellent and has superb bodywork and an unmarked interior. Since purchasing the car in 2014, the owner has spent approaching £58,000 on bringing the car to the standard that it is today. The first £28,000 was spent with well known restorers Lanes Jaguar in Burton on Trent and detailed invoices for the work are all presentin the car file. Finished in Azure blue with blue hide interior, the car has manual transmission and chrome wire wheels which is undoubtedly the most sought after specification and it is a pleasure to drive. Fitted with a blue mohair hood which again is in lovely condition, the car has rarely been used on anything other than in dry weather. From the Jaguar Heritage certificate that accompanies the car we note that it was originally exported to USA in March 1974 but was later bought back Madrid in the early 2000's. It would appear to have spent most of its existance in a dry climate, judging by the lack of any corrosion. Only offered for sale to make room for other classics. Very realistically priced at £75,000
