This 1996cc Armstrong-Siddeley Typhoon was found in a garage and restored, with new roof, the woodwork treated, and the engine rebuilt. It was resprayed to its current colours from its original grey. While originally manufactured in 1949, the Armstrong Siddeley was reregistered in June 1996, presumably because it had dropped off the DVLA database. The odometer shows 93,284 miles and the last MoT expired in April 2008, after having been tested the year before at an indicated 92,913 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Armstrong Siddeley is now MoT-exempt. Four registered keepers are recorded on the V5C. The Typhoon runs and drives.
Paperwork includes the current and past V5Cs/V5s, buff logbook, album of restoration photos, owner's manual, invoices back to the 1960s and some MoT certificates.
