This solid, straight, honest 280SL Pagoda looks as nice and straight in person as the pictures reflect. The car is a numbers matching engine that has the smooth sound of a sewing machine. The transmission shifts solid and at the correct shift points without the typical clunk of an automatic transmission characteristic of this model. The front fenders and rear quarters are original to the car with factory spot welds visible. Aluminum doors are straight as are the factory body panels. Car has perfect factory body panel gaps. Paint is in excellent condition as is the chrome components. Soft top looks new. Wood dash trim is perfect as is the dash pad void of cracks and warping. Instrumentation is clean, and crisp. The heater control levers work smoothly.
The floor pans as well as the trunk floors are solid void of rust or rust repair.
