Beech Hill Garage was established in 1979 by Ted and Sally de la Rivière. Ted spent the late 1950’s and the 1960’s working as a Grand Prix and sports racing car mechanic with notable names such as Chris Amon, Mike Hailwood and Paul Hawkins. In this period, he worked on many interesting cars including the ERA R4D, Lotus 25, Ferrari 250LM and Lola T70s.
Ted and Sally retired in 2002 and the company is now run by their son William and his wife Louise from the same premises just south of Reading, Berkshire.
William graduated from the Oxford School of Architecture and practiced in the Corporate Sector until the opportunity arose to join the family business in 2001. In 2000 William won the MGCC Drayton Manor Park MG Metro Cup in a car prepared by Ted and the workshop team.
William and Louise continue to develop the company by offering a complete range of services for the Classic Car owner with any age of vehicle from the Vintage era to the modern MG Rover cars.
Our workshops and body shop are staffed by five guys with a combined experience of over 125 years for our type of cars. We can tune your SU carburettors or carry out a complete restoration.
We offer a select range of truly high quality cars for sale from T-types to late low mileage MG Rover cars.
Our Parts Department is stocked with £10,000’s worth of parts. We are an X-Part Wholesaler and feature in their Top 10 sellers, selling more MG Rover parts than MGOC Spares.
